Isak was bred by Joan Corsburg of Idaho.
Isak arrived at the Ultimate Piaffe in Lake Oswego, Oregon, for
full training in May of 2007.
In training just two months Isak, a last minute substitution, won classes
at both Dressage at DevonWood, his first show experience ever and the
following weekend at Dressage at Lake Oswego Hunt Club.
With each test, Isak’s confidence grew along with his scores starting in
the 60’s with comments “lovely big moving horse with good basics
started” and “ with a little more experience scores will be quite
high” to several 70% scores including a 72.500% and comments “huge
talent” and “super prospect”.
Isak easily qualified for the ODS Championships and with a combined score
of 65% and 70.400%, he finished 5th in a class of 15 in the
Open Training Level Division with a 68%.
He consistently received 8’s in gaits and earned 9’s for his “two
foot over track!” in his free walk.

Isak is an extravagant mover with endless
expression but also high rideability.
He is uncomplicated, abundantly affectionate and embraces his work
with curiosity and acceptance.
Isak is shown under the Ultimate Piaffe’s head rider Darrel Purdy (6
feet) and summer working student, 15 year old Mercedes Andazola
(5’7”).
Isak is an F.E.I. prospect and is suitable for professionals, amateurs and
junior riders.
