Ilias has 90 days under saddle and is ready for your training program. He has lovely uphill movement, is very balanced and supple with a naturally beautiful neck carriage. Very sweet, easy going and uncomplicated Ilias will steal your heart with his willingness to work and very personable nature. His exceptional movement makes him very light and easy to ride. Professionally started by a dressage trainer who started him with a very kind and gentle manner. She loved him from the start and called him a "dream horse". He was very easy to start under saddle, showing willingness from the start to be ridden and enjoying the process. At this time Ilias stands 15.1h, but his big movement meets or exceeds most horses of 16.3h. His trainer stands 5'7".

Isthmus was born March 24, 2000.  He is by the top Oldenburg stallion, Ideal.  Ideal has many offspring successfully competing in various disciplines.  Ideal is the top producer of premium ISR Oldenburg foals.  His Dam, Effie McGruder, has produced excellent offspring.  He is already showing incredible movement seen in his father’s offspring.  Isthmus was a premium colt with the German Oldenburg Verband.  Isthmus is a beautiful chestnut  color.  Isthmus was started under saddle in November 2002 with Dave Williams.  He was started over fences this summer.   $20,000. SOLD
